Bacon Print Auction
So, a few weeks ago I did a screen print of a side of bacon. Following my fascination with things that glow, including bacon fat, I printed some glow ink over the fat of the bacon print. I am really pleased with the texture of the chipboard as the background, as well. I’ll have a few more of these with me in November at the DIY show, and might consider doing another version of these for Tiny Run? Maybe.

And then last night at the annual Mookie Jam benefit, the framed print was silent auctioned off. I didn’t stick around till the auction was over, but when I left bidding was at $65. The band playing that evening, The Jans, also wore shirts of my design and printing, which pleased me greatly. Nothing like seeing four men wearing blonde wigs and wearing my shirts. Excellent stuff.
